MR. CHANGSEOK OHK , Chairman
Mr. Ohk, obtained bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Diplomacy at Yonsei University, and MBA in Finance at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).
Mr. OHK has joined WOORI BANK (Korea) since 2002, right after his graduation from Yonsei University. Then, he has been continuing his career in the banking industry with a wealth of experience through various positions, including in the HR Department, Regional Office, Corporate Banking, and Global Strategy as well as Branch Manager. His current role is one of the Branch Manager in WOORI BANK (Korea); prior to that, he was working as the Head of Global Business Strategy and used to be the General Manager of Future Corporate Banking.
Mr. Ohk was approved as Chairman of the Board of WOORI BANK (CAMBODIA) PLC. from July 2024.
MR. CHEOL SU SOHN, BOD Member
Mr. Sohn has been working with WOORI BANK (Korea) since January 1995 in various positions, starting from Officer Level to General Management and Chief Executive Officer of WOORI BANK (CAMBODIA) PLC. Most of his career was in sales, including branch staff, Deputy Branch Manager, and Branch Manager. His specialty has been in the corporate sector, including Corporate Finance and Corporate Sales. He also used to work in other support functions, such as Business Support, Operations, Human Resources, Regional Office, and Credit Analysis and Approval Department targeting big corporate enterprises.
Mr. Sohn was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of WOORI BANK (CAMBODIA) PLC. in August 2025.
MR. SHIN DONG WOO, BOD Member
Mr. Shin graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Kyonggi University, Korea in 2001. He began his career at WOORI BANK (Korea) in 2002 and has accumulated more than 23 years of experience in the banking sector. He possesses diverse expertise in Sales, Operations, Product Development, Strategy and Planning, as well as Finance and Treasury, including foreign exchange and fund management.
In August 2025, Mr. Shin was appointed as a member of the Board of WOORI BANK (CAMBODIA) PLC.
MS. FIONA WHYTE, Independent BOD Member
Ms. Whyte, a New Zealand citizen, has been an independent director at WOORI BANK (CAMBODIA) PLC. since June 2018. With over 30 years’ experience in financial services across New Zealand and Southeast Asia, she holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies from Massey University (2007). She previously served as a World Vision New Zealand trustee and was a principal adviser at New Zealand’s Financial Markets Authority.
MR. KY BUNTREAN, Independent BOD Member
Mr. Buntrean has joined WOORI BANK (CAMBODIA) PLC. as independent Board of Directors. He holds master degree of law and political science and certificate of BACK (Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia). Previously, he also worked as board member of Woori Finance Cambodia Plc. from 2018 to early 2020. Besides, he is a member of barrister (lawyer) of the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia and also a part time professor at Royal University of Law and Economics, Cambodia.
After successfully merging WOORI Finance Cambodia Plc and WB Finance Co., Ltd, Mr. Buntrean was appointed in February 2020 as an Independent Board Member of WOORI BANK (CAMBODIA) PLC.
MR. DUONG SARAK, Independent BOD Member
Mr. Sarak has almost 30-year working experience, including the last 15 years with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank Group in Cambodia and the Mekong Region, in Investment and Corporate Advisory, Agribusiness, and Private Sector Development. During his time as a Country Head of IFC, he managed senior relationships with government counterparts, development partners, and local & international firms. He has led a number of successful advisory engagements with Local SME firms during his time in Regional Mekong Advisory to help the businesses’ scale expand, build partnerships, and access offshore investment funds.
Mr. Sarak holds a Master Degree of Arts in Development Studies at Royal University of Phnom Penh 2009, and is currently a managing Partner at SME Frontier Partners, a corporate finance and investment advisory firm. He is also serving as a Senior Corporate Advisor for some local & international firms and has been appointed as an independent member of the Board of Directors at WOORI BANK (CAMBODIA) PLC. from August 2025.
MR. JEOUNG HOON YOO, Independent BOD Member
Mr. Yoo graduated with a Bachelor of Law from Seoul National University in 1998, then successfully completed the training from Judicial Research and Training Institute in 2003. Currently he is a partner and group leader of Asia Practice Group of DLG Law Corporation, and prior to his current roles, he was an Independent Director of a Bank in Myanmar and has more than 20 years of experience with other law firms in different countries such as Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Japan.
With his expertise in legal field, Mr. Yoo has been officially appointed to be an Independent member of Board of Directors of WOORI BANK (CAMBODIA) PLC. in August 2025.
