MR. JU SUG KANG, Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Kang graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Language and Literature from Seoul National University. He began his career with WOORI BANK (Korea) in 1998. Over the course of his 28-year tenure with the bank, he has held key international roles, including serving as a Finance Officer at WOORI BANK (China). Mr. KANG possesses extensive experience in Global Strategy Management, complemented by practical expertise gained through branch leadership and various head office functions, including HR Strategy and Training.
In February 2026, following approval from the National Bank of Cambodia, Mr. Kang was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of WOORI BANK (CAMBODIA) PLC.
Mr. DONG WOO SHIN , Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Shin graduated with a Bachelor degree in Economics from Kyonggi University, Korea in 2001. He began his career at WOORI BANK (Korea) in 2002 and has accumulated more than 23 years of experience in the banking sector. He possesses diverse expertise in Sales, Operations, Product Development, Strategy and Planning, as well as Finance and Treasury, including foreign exchange and fund management. In July 2023, Mr. Shin was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of WOORI BANK (CAMBODIA) PLC.
MR. PREAP PISETH, Chief Operation Officer
Mr. Piseth gained over a decade of substantial experience in development, customer service, sponsorship management, public communication, and administration, as well as management and leadership, prior to entering the financial sector. His career with WOORI BANK (CAMBODIA) PLC. commenced in 2008. Before joining the bank, he worked for World Vision Cambodia and the Secretariat of the Civil Service (formerly the Secretariat for Public Functions) of the Royal Government of Cambodia. Mr. Piseth holds a Master of Business Administration from Anglia Ruskin University, Global FTMS Campus in Singapore. He also holds a Bachelor of Economics in Enterprise Management and an Associate Degree in Professional Law from the Royal University of Law and Economics in Cambodia.
MRS. TOP SOK SAMPHEA, Chief Risk Officer
Ms. Samphea joined WOORI BANK (CAMBODIA) PLC. in 2002 as the Director of Finance and Administration. She was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2008 and transitioned to Chief Risk Officer in April 2021. Prior to joining with the bank, she served as a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young and PwC Cambodia. Currently, she is a Board Member of the Cambodia Microfinance Association (CMA). With more than 20 years of experience, she has extensive expertise in Finance, Accounting, Management, Business Planning and Strategy, Auditing, Administration, and Communications. Ms. Samphea earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Business Administration from the National University of Management in Cambodia and holds a Diploma in Accounting and Administration from Noisy-le-Grand College in France.
MR. KIM CHANGYOU, Cheif Digital Officer
Mr. Kim, obtained his Master Degree in Science and Finance at Michigan State University of USA in 2010 and Master Degree of Business Administration at the KDI School of Public Policy & Management of Korea in 2011. He has joined WOORI BANK (Korea) in 2003 and has been continuing his career with WOORI BANK (Korea) until present with many experiences through the various positions. Before Mr. Kim was appointed as Chief Digital Officer of Woori Bank (Cambodia) Plc. in the early of 2025, he was working in position as Deputy Chief Financial Officer.
MR. EAT CHETRASORIVONG, Chief Information Officer
Mr. Sorivong graduated with a Master of Commerce in General Management from Charles Sturt University, Australia, in 2024, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Norton University, Cambodia, earned in 2006. He has over 20 years of experience driving transformative digital strategies, modernizing technology infrastructures, and fortifying cybersecurity within the banking and financial sectors. Notably, he was recognized as one of the Top 10 CIOs in ASEAN Financial Services in 2018. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership roles, including Chief Technology Officer, Head of IT Audit, Head of IT Department, and Independent IT Consultant. In 2025, Mr. Sorivong was appointed Chief Information Officer (CIO) at WOORI BANK (CAMBODIA) PLC.
MR. SOPHAL SOPHATH, Chief Credit Officer
Mr. Sophath, joined WOORI BANK (CAMBODIA) PLC. in 2025 as the Chief Credit Officer. He graduated with a Master of Business Administration from Norton University and Ateneo de Zamboanga University in 2003. With 26 years of experience in the financial industry, he has held several senior executive positions, including Vice President of Credit Management, Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Head of Credit Department. Throughout his career, Mr. Sophath has demonstrated a proven ability to lead financial institutions effectively through strategic diversification and management.
