Woori Bank Cambodia and staff have extended their heartfelt support to frontline soldiers and displaced civilians impacted by the recent Cambodia–Thailand border tensions. Through contributions of foods and essential supplies, the bank aims to assist those safeguarding national security and communities affected by the crisis.
This initiative was carried out in collaboration with relevant authorities and displacement camps, ensuring timely aid for both military personnel and refugees.
The donation has been allocated to assist frontline soldiers and displaced citizens in the 14 affected provinces, such as Preah Vihear, Siem Reap, Oddor Mean Chey, Banteay Mean Chey, Pursat, Battambang, Koh Kong, Kampot, Kep, Kampong Speu, Kandal, Kampong Cham, Kampong Thom, Kratie.
This donation reflects Woori Bank Cambodia and its staff’s deep commitment to the Cambodian people and highlights its role in supporting national recovery and social safety under the slogan: “Woori Bank Stands with the Cambodian People.”
In addition to donations, Woori Bank (Cambodia) Plc. has joined the Royal Government and the National Bank of Cambodia in implementing the following measures:
✅ Debt cancellation of up to 80 million riels for customers or co-borrowers who are fallen soldiers
✅ Debt cancellation of up to 10 million riels for customers or co-borrowers who are disabled soldiers
✅ Special concessions for debt repayments for soldiers on the battlefield and displaced persons
Through these efforts, Woori Bank Cambodia reaffirms its role as a trusted partner in supporting national resilience and social welfare.
